Job description
At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential, and people too. With a culture that's all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology and careers to the next level.
We are hiring a Manager, Technical Program Management for our Security organization. Security at Snowflake spans Product Security, Database Security, Threat Detection, and Penetration Testing — the teams that protect the world's most sensitive data on the world's most trusted data platform. This role will lead a team of Technical Program Managers driving the programs that keep Snowflake's platform secure at scale, while directly managing and growing TPM talent.
AS A MANAGER, TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGEMENT AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Technical Program Managers embedded across Security engineering (Product Security, Database Security, Threat Detection, and related functions)
Own the operating rhythm for security program delivery — driving planning, execution, and risk visibility across multiple concurrent security initiatives
Partner directly with Security Engineering leadership, Legal, Compliance, and Product to align program priorities with the company's security and compliance posture
Represent security program health and risk to senior leadership with clear, data-driven updates — translating technical complexity into business impact
Coach your TPMs on structuring ambiguous security programs, driving cross-team alignment, and building trust with security engineers and stakeholders
Identify and resolve organizational friction points affecting how security programs are planned and delivered — building lightweight, scalable processes
Hold the team accountable for program outcomes while fostering a culture of ownership, technical rigor, and continuous improvement
OUR IDEAL MANAGER, TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGEMENT WILL HAVE:
6+ years of technical program management experience, including 2+ years directly managing TPMs or a similar technical team
Experience running security, compliance, or trust & safety programs at a cloud software or infrastructure company
Demonstrated ability to partner with security engineers and architects on technically complex initiatives (e.g., threat modeling programs, compliance certifications, vulnerability remediation programs)
Strong track record of building and coaching high-performing TPM or program management teams
Excellent executive communication skills — comfortable presenting program risk and status to senior security and engineering leadership
Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment where priorities shift based on emerging threats or compliance deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
