Job description
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team building next-generation software for interventional cardiology. As a software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, writing, debugging, testing, and maintaining complex applications that process and visualize angiographic imaging in real time within the Cath lab. You will work closely with algorithm developers, software test and automation engineers, biomedical engineers, and upstream product specialists in an agile environment to refine and enhance existing applications, as well as develop new, innovative ones. You will formulate, deliver, and/or manage assigned projects and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. The majority of time is spent delivering R&D, systems, or initiatives related to new technologies - from design to implementation - while adhering to policies and using specialized knowledge and skills.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Design, develop, test, debug, and implement operating system components, software tools, and utilities.
Determine systems software design requirements.
Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.
Generate systems software engineering policies, standards, and procedures.
May work across a variety of software lifecycle activities as determined by program needs.

Requirements:
Required Knowledge and Experience:
B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
4+ years of experience as a Software Developer.
High proficiency in C/C++/C#.NET.
Familiarity with WPF.
Strong object-oriented design skills.
Strong multi-threading programming skills.
Hands-on experience with application development in a production environment.
Experience with computer vision and image processing, GPU programming (preferably CUDA), MATLAB/MATLAB API, VTK and/or OpenGL, medical imaging (preferably DCMTK), and agile methodologies will be considered an advantage.
